***TACO FEST: MUSIC Y MÁS POSTPONEMENT***
Dear Valued Taco Fest Guests,
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are disheartened to have to share that the Third Annual Taco Fest: Music Y Más has been postponed. Taco Fest: Music Y Más was scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at The University of Texas at San Antonio Downtown Campus. At this time UTSA expects to implement social distancing policies through April 12, 2020 at a minimum, and will not be able to host the festival. The festival fully supports UTSA and the City of San Antonio’s decision on erring on the side of caution and will follow its guidelines to help contain this disease.
We hope you will join us at the rescheduled event at a later date, which we will announce as soon as it's determined. We will share the new date via email and on tacocapitaloftheworld.com, and all pre-sold tickets will be honored for the newly scheduled date; if you prefer a refund, we will honor those within 24 hours of the announcement.

Taco Fest: Music Y Más is thrilled to announce its return in 2020 for its third annual event at its new home at The University of Texas at San Antonio Downtown Campus on Saturday, April 4, 2020. In addition to returning festival favorite restaurants, Taco Fest’s transition from its former home at La Villita to its new location will allow for increased festival capacity, enhanced music stages, new Taco-inspired art and activations, and nationally recognized Taco experts.
This year’s event will take place from Noon - 11 p.m. in the heart of Downtown San Antonio and will include three programmed stages featuring live music from local, regional and national acts, cooking demonstrations, storytelling and more.
In addition, this family-friendly event will feature an expanded children’s area, including programming provided by Spare Parts, a presentation by Dragons Love Tacos and more.
Early Bird General Admission - $15 plus applicable taxes and fees; Early Bird pricing available through February 2020 while supplies last:
