Kick off Fiesta Week with a rare screening of San Antonio filmmaker Jim Mendiola's 2003 feature film Speeder Kills, about a local punk band who hijack a Fiesta float during the Battle of Flowers Day parade. Not seen in over ten years, this DIY, award-winning movie features dozens of San Antonio bands and many visual artists from the dynamic underground music and art scene of the time. Director Jim Mendiola will present the film along with many of the artists and musicians present. ONE NIGHT ONLY so buy your tickets soon!
