SA Harvey Relief Benefit Show

Hurricane Harvey is the 1st hurricane in 9 years to wreak havoc on our golf coast. A category 4 brute bringing winds up to 130 mph carrying 56,000 calls of distress in Houston alone. Roughly 24 trillion gallons of rain water fell upon Texas drowning homes and displacing over 30,000 people. Between damages, lost wages, and disrupted businesses Hurricane Harvey is estimated to be one of the most costly natural disasters in the nations history. Unfortunately, our turmoil did not end there, only days later Hurricane Irma and Jose became immanent threats ready to salt fresh wounds. Fortunately, even in the wake of so much destruction the defiant spirit of the people remained intact and humanity became a common denominator bridging people from all over. Though so much has been accomplished there is still a lot of work to be done. On Wednesday, the 27th of September we call onto the great people of San Antonio to continue with this passion for community by joining us at the Brick. There will be local merchants, food, drinks, and 30+ music, comedy, poetry, and performance acts. We'll also be taking pet supplies, clothes, and food donations. The South Texas Blood mobile will be there as well. Bring two grocery bags of donatable items and get $10 off your ticket (applies to tickets bought on site only). If you can't make it but want to donate, you can still purchase a ticket. Children under 13 get in for free!
